Kreotec is a biological formulation that improves the delivery of nitrogen to the plant, leading to both an increase in crop yield and the ability to reduce applied nitrogen fertiliser. This product has been concentrated to 50g/ha specifically for large broadacre farming.
The bacteria found in Kreotec fix atmospheric nitrogen in addition to improving nitrogen use efficiency of applied fertiliser, allowing growers to reduce their applied nitrogen by up to 30 – 40%. The reduction in applied nitrogen has benefits to both the farmer and the wider environment. Kreotec is foliar applied and can be used in a wide range of annual and perennial crops.
